Program Details
CSP Global’s accelerated nursing program allows you to earn a nursing degree in as little as 16 months, with three start dates per year (January, May, and September) at each of our ABSN locations. Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE)
The baccalaureate degree program in nursing at Concordia University, St. Paul is accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (http://www.ccneaccreditation.org).
Colorado State Authorization
At the October 23, 2024, Full Board meeting, the State Board of Nursing voted to approve Platt College baccalaureate degree in nursing teach out plan, recognized Concordia University St. Paul as the governing body of Platt College BSN program starting January 1, 2025, and accepted Concordia University St. Paul CCNE accredited BSN curriculum for the new admissions starting January 2025.

Licensing Requirements
Each state has different requirements for professional licensure and certifications. If you are considering an academic program that prepares you to pursue professional licensure or certification, you are strongly encouraged to contact your state’s licensing authority for guidance before beginning an academic program outside of your state. Additional licensure requirements may include professional examinations, background checks, years of work experience, fingerprinting requirements, etc.
If you relocate during your course of study: Since licensing requirements vary by state, moving to a different state before or during your program may impact the requirements for licensure or certification. If you are considering relocating, you should contact the licensing authorities provided for your desired program.
Nursing
CSP’s pre-licensure nursing programs prepare students to take the National Council Licensure Exam (NCLEX-RN®), which is required for professional nursing licensing in all states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands. CSP BSN program graduates are eligible to apply to take the NCLEX-RN® in any state. States may require additional licensure application conditions including but not limited to background studies that may include fingerprinting. State specific professional nursing licensure requirements are accessible via the identified state’s nursing board website.

ABSN stands for Accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing. The ABSN can be completed in as few as 16 months, unlike a traditional BSN, which takes four years to complete.
ABSN programs are an excellent choice for students who already hold a degree and want to switch to another profession. CSP Global requires a minimum of 54 college credits, along with prerequisites.
CSP Global’s ABSN program is available through a hybrid model. Students will take courses online, while their labs and clinical rotations will be held in person. The CSP Global ABSN is offered through three locations nationally:
